Answers to questions that were not asked

So here are the questions that raised some interesting responses.
Which woman won the NYC marathon yesterday with a time of 2 hrs : 10 min : 23 sec?
it was of course Britain's very own Paula Raddcliffe. However some teams convinced themselves that Tennembaum, Jane w/the shore hair, Roseanne, some skinny chick, Nijimi (Kathy?) and some British woman who should have taken the subway were better answers and indeed they were.

Mike Skinner was thought to be aka; Ali g, Jamiriquai, MC Winston Churchill,Boney M, Dizzy Razcal or MC britania instead of the streets.

Peter Sellers role of an officer in Dr. Strangelove was thought to be known as; lft. blohard, quimby, dr. stangelove, jack lincoler, major major, luetenant bat guano, norbert, colonel trask, major alfonso, manfred, major straight, killings worm and officer bathwater. I've left the spelling intact as it adds miles to this highway of laughs.

Gin, sweet and sour mix and a slash of sprite combine to create a tom collins. However, it was also thought to be the combination resulting in a gin rickey, a Roy Rogers, a Singapore sling, a gin sour, a Harvey Wallbanger or a sloe gin fizz.

Lastly, Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley were thought to have founded; Peter Paul & Mary, the Mamma's and the Pappa's, Fugazi, the Postal Service, the Captian & Tenille, Manhattan Transfer, They Might be Giants and Hubkap before and after forming Yo La Tango.

That's it for this month. Next month is Fact 12 and after that we will have been going for over a year. Stay tuned for special offers and information on Dr. Fact for high rollers.

Dr. Fact 11

This month's fact was ununique in many ways. There were no drag down and duke'em'out trivia square offs for first place, there were no questions that were less than clear, the aisles were clear of excess debris, the fire escapes were clearly marked. The only thing missing was nurse tidbit, who was off at an undisclosed location. Which I suspect was a compound in Colorado somewhere. Enough with that, Dr. Fact 11 was high scoring and hard fought. Ultimately, the school house rock stars beat out the nueticals, suspicious package, operation infinite wedgie and triumph of the shill to win with an impressive 40/50. This month we implemented an additional prize for best team name. The winner was to be selected by a committee of one, our musical maestro, scotty von scottsmussen. The winner of that contest was a team going by "My Bush Bites Back." The bonus round for this month was all about beer, fittingly enough I guess. We would name the bear you would name the country of origin. In example Duvel would be Holland, Singha would be Thailand and so on. Anyway five teams with scores of 4/5 enjoyed a pitcher of beer as a result of their beer knowledge. Those winners were; the neuticals, axis of evil snivel, suspicious package, yam can trivia and lastly the new neighbors.
